Do I have to pay for parking?
Whether or not you have to pay for parking is dependent on where you park. However, Somerville has multiple free parking options, including many side streets and the new parking deck just north of the Somerville train station.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome, but must be kept on leads at all times. Please be aware that there will be noise during the parade, including honking cars, police sirens, announcements from the grand stand, and music from the various bands.
How early should I arrive to get a good spot?
The Somerville St. Patrick's Day Parade has plenty of great vantage points to view and enjoy the parade. We encourage spectators to arrive at the parade route one hour before kickoff at 1:30pm.
